Donut Falls in Winter

Nothing to cure an illness like a hike in the cold, winter air. I was still getting over some nasty congestion (likely from the poor air quality) and we thought some fresh, mountain air would do me good. We were right! We started the trek to Donut Falls from the main road and did not think we would go the whole way but we felt so good, we just kept going! It was such a fun hike and such a beautiful day. I love this hike in the summer but it is equally fun (and a little longer) in the winter! We wore our Yaxtrax over our boots to give us good traction in the snow and they were perfect - the snow was plenty packed to avoid snowshoes. Hiking in Utah is the best year-round.
